Well, when I signed up on Newgrounds back in 2006, I noticed that people were talking about stuff called "furry" or "yiff". The first furry user I remember was HotActionYiffFur, just because their sig had some cartoon fox or something. It wasn't until 2007 I decided to look up "Furry" on Google. I saw some drawings of naked human-like foxes, and ultimately I thought that was weird and disgusting. I liked the art concept but not the attraction to anthropomorphic animals engaging in sexual activity.
Then in 2008 I started drawing Starfox pictures because I was big fan of the games, and I liked drawing. I then moved on to creating my own characters, but for whatever reason I felt embarrased by them. In late 2009, I believe it was September, someone on the Stickam chat said that they had downloaded some furry porn. I was very curious to know what it looked like, so I requested some links to the torrents. I downloaded every single picture on the site SexyFur.com. One thing I noticed is that a lot of it was just shitty trace art, colored in Photoshop, and reproduced over and over again with different characters. Plus, a lot of it was just plain creepy.
Then in December of 2009 I was introduced to Pleasure Bon Bon, a furry comic that is actually drawn by a woman. Yeah, I never thought that existed either. Anyways, I read the comic for like 2 days straight and got addicted to it. I would pay for it, but I read it off fchan. This is ultimately what made me a furry.
Although some of the pictures actually turned me on, but nothing fap material. So I downloaded a nother torrent with a bunch of furry pictures that weren't traced or poorly colored. I was given a bunch of great ones, including the one below, which happens to be my favorite picture. I was able to fap to some of the pictures successfully.

Edit: Interestingly, the artist of the picture below is actually from Russia. I just found out his name, or actually part of his name. Miles-DF, check his art out if you haven't already. It's the kind of furry porn I would pay for if I was 18 or older, but fuck that.
