My future house!

Posted by Jon4life Nov. 21, 2009 @ 3:29 AM EST

So, I would like to show you guys my future house. No one currently lives in it, but I remember when there use to be. This house brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. It was built in 1910 and was abandoned in 2004. It still stands, but it's falling apart day by day. The windows are gradually being broken out. No less than a week ago, someone threw a large object through the largest window. The black berry bushes in the back of the house (as seen in the picture) are like a beard on a homeless man. At one point the beard was nice and trimmed, but now it's just overgrown and ugly.

The house is currently not being lived in by the owner, but the front door is wide open to the world. When you walk in the front door you will immediatly notice that the house is in alright condition for being so old. The only problem is that the person who previously lived there forgot to lock their doors. And one day, their entire house was trashed by hoodlums. So the owner just said "Fuck it, I'm outta here!" and left the house completely trashed and open for people to check it out, like me and my friends did. They left just about everything. The refrigerator, old records, VHS tapes, the washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, and a fan. Then add the stuff people brought in, this includes: Beer bottles, cans, sleeping bags, clothes, used syringes, a broken methamphetamine pipe (I could tell it was one), and a ton of other shit.

The kitchen has a hall way going down to the dining room, and a door to the basement. The basement door was open, but nothing made a sound. My friends and I could only guess what was down there. A homeless guy sleeping? A dead homeless guy? A meth lab? Who knows, it's a mystery to this day because we didn't dare to go down there. The living room was the cleanest room of the house, I would have to say. The carpet was black, unlike any carpet I had ever seen. It was like someone took some foam and covered the floor, put a huge thick blanket on top and nailed it in.

One thing that some kind artist decided to do was to draw naked woman, on the walls. In the bathroom in front of the toilet, and in the living room are drawings of naked woman in pencil. I won't lie, they are very nicely drawn...but some how I am extremely disturbed. In the living room is a mural. I can't describe what it is, because I have no idea, it's just weird. Also, some faggot spray painted "ICP" on the big window (the one on the bottom left in the picture). What a fucking loser.

In the upstairs, it is empty. Except for a matress in the master bedroom. In the master bedroom was a latch to the attic. But it had a padlock, so we had no idea who or what could be above our heads. My friend Connor went to one room and I went to the other. The rooms didn't have doors. I am guessing someone stole them; wouldn't be surprised. One thing I remember from way back when I was only about 5 years old, the person who owned this house kept a fan in every window that could open all year long, including fall and winter. Now that I think about it, that is very suspicious.

I have decided that one day I am going to buy the house off the current owner. He lives in California and is an attorney at law. I don't know why this guy owns it, but he happens to for god knows what reason. I would like to see this house be revived from the years it has gone through. I only got a picture from the outside. The next time I go in I hopefully won't walk in on some guy roasting some crack or anyone for that matter.
